Ariana Grande's Listening Session Tour last show was in Los Angeles and I got to attend. 

The concert was full of surprises & just the most fun I've had in a long time.

Aside from talking about the concert, I'm going to talk about what I wore.

Fashion.

I decided to wear an Ariana Grande inspired look, but not looking exactly like her. Ariana Grande loves pearls, ribbons, lace, floral, and just an old style look.

I went a simple, floral laced, cream ballerina dress.

Hair, I decided to curl and grab one side of it. I held it with a small, white, laced bow. I did not use a curler, I used a straightener to curl my hair.

Jewelry, not shown in the picture above, a simple pearl bracelet. 

Shoes, I decided to go comfortable. I wore white laced socks, paired with cream colored, high top converse.

Not only did I attended the show, I attended soundcheck & meet and greet.

Soundcheck, Ariana performed a song & answered questions for us.

For the show, she performed all her new songs off her album "Yours Truly," special guests Big Sean and Mac Miller came to perform with her.

She opened with "Baby I" and closed with "The Way."

Scooter Braun was also there to surprise her with the best news ever, her album was #1 in the country.

There has been so much going on in our lives at the moment. So much craziness, we kind of abandoned our blog.

This Century.

This Century is a band from Phoenix, Arizona. Consisting of 4 members:

Joel Kanitz, vocals.

Sean Silverman, guitar.

Alex Silverman, keyboard.

Ryan Gose, drums.

This band has been around since 2007, releasing several EP's. In 2011, AP magazine named them as one of the "100 bands you need to know for 2011" and we agree. Their pop/rock sound makes their music enjoyable for all ages. 

This Century has recently released their new independent album "Biography of Heartbreak." Available now on itunes and amazon. 

Currently on the 8123 tour with the Maine, A Rocket to the Moon, & Brighten. Kicked off the tour in Tempe, Arizona. We had the pleasure to chat with the guys at their Anaheim, California show on June 6, 2013. We got to attend their sold at show at the HOB Anaheim, which was full of energy and eager fans. The band played a 7 song set, mostly from their new album. Crowd favorite was "Slow Dance Night," which a great summer song. If you haven't heard it, I'll post the video for it down below. Perrie Edwards from Little Mix how to inspired looks + video.

Perrie Edwards from Little Mix is one of my fashion inspirations. I love her 90's style & her floral touches. Everyone from Little Mix has their own style and I love how they wear what they want to. If it's different, they're not afraid. As long as you're comfortable with what you're wearing & confident that is all that matters.

I kept getting tons of request to do a Perrie Edwards how to inspired look. I included make-up, a simple hair style that can be done anywhere & 3 looks. After the video, I will post more info on the outfits down below. I hope you guys enjoy this video! xoxo

Outfit #1:

Perrie wears a lot of overalls or overall dresses, I paired this outift with heels & those socks you use to wear in kindergarden. Perrie loves wearing these socks with heels, it adds a girly touch and it totally reminds me of the 90's.

This outfit was inspired by one of her radio interviews. And I thought I put my take on it. The flowy skirt is so comfortable & adding a crop top with a high waisted skirt adds the 90's vibe you were looking for.

This is my favorite outfit because it's perfect for hanging out with friends and shopping. It's so comfortable, but still girly and cute.

Perrie Edwards Inspired Look.

So it's been a while since either of us has posted on her, so here I am. I'm here to talk about

an inspired look, Perrie Edwards from Little Mix. She has recently become my fashion inspiration. While some people think she dresses strange or even "what was she thinking." I think she dresses really cute and she's not afraid to be different. She dresses for herself, not anyone else. I see a lot of 90's & saved by the bell style inspiration and I absolutely LOVE IT.

The picture shown above was what I used for inspiration for her make-up. You guys don't know how badly I want her hair color in this picture.

So I decided to do an inspired look from her. It is from the picture shown above, she is wearing short overalls, a long lace, white top, and I'm not sure about shoes, but she usually wears boots or I've seen her wear heel jellies with overalls. Her hair is in a low ponytail & has dark smokey eye make-up.

I decided to give it a go. I wore short overalls, but since it's hot here in california I decided to go with a white crop top. For shoes, I decided to go with my floral white docs. Perrie loves flowers and floral print, so I thought it'd be perfect. For hair I went with a messy low ponytail, but added a white floral scrunchie - total 90's vibe. And for make-up, I did the whole dark, smoky Perrie look. I thought it turned out very well, the only thing missing was the outrageous eyelashes. I need to make sure to go buy some eyelashes since I'm all out.

Spring Hair & Makeup LOOK.

S P R I N G is HERE.

Spring is here and it's time for bright colors, pastels, floral prints and time to say goodbye to the winter coats.

Since Spring is here I decided to do a Spring make-up & hair look! The make-up is really simple and reminds me of a sunrise. I also show you some of my favorite products that I personally love to use like my NYX eyeshadow base and my recently boughten Almay eyeliner. If you want to start using liquid eyeliner and a beginner at starting to make wings or even a cat eye i really recommend this eyeliner. It is so easy to use and the brush makes it so easy to create wings. Best part about it, it doesn't smudge.

For hair, I went super EASY and SIMPLE. No heat required, unless you want too. Literally just pop on a flower headband or flower crown, and VOILA it screams SPRING. The Voice Premiere

This is the Voiceeeeee...

On March 20th, I got to attend the premiere of the Voice. This is the fourth season of the Voice and new judges took their seats. Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green were replaced by Shakira and Usher. The other judges that remain on the show include the very sexy Adam Levine & the charming Blake Shelton. This is a very interesting mix of different music and personalities. 

If you haven't watched the voice, it is a singing competition that is all about your voice and not about your looks. And in the end there could only be one winner, one voice. During auditions, the judges have their backs turned away from the competitors. They have no idea what they look like or how many people are singing, if they like the competitor(s) they press their button. The chair turns around and that means they want them on their team, so they can mentor them. If more than one judge turns their chair, the judges have to compete & persuade the singer to join their team. When the judges turn around sometimes their SURPRISED by the person singing or sometimes they even regret pressing their buttons. Once auditions are over, the judges have 10 people on their team and battle rounds begin, their own team compete against each other and have to narrow down their team to 5 people. Then the live shows start and YOU, the audience at home gets to vote and choose the VOICE.

At the premiere, we got to watch the first episode and let me tell you guys I don't think you'll be disappointed. The was show hilarious and there is SO MUCH TALENT. I'm impressed by the talent these people have, I wish I could sing like them. Unfortunately, I sing like I just got ran over by a semi truck. The new judges are already competitive & ready to fight for the people they want. 

Shakira is hilarious and I feel a little bit underestimated because she sings latin music. But the funny thing is she has one more grammys and awards from all the other judges, place instruments and sings both in english and spanish. All in all, the new judges were a great addition to the show. The show has become more hysterical and I love the dynamic between all the judges. I already have an idea of who is going to win the whole competition just by watching the first episode. If you watch it let me know if you agree by tweeting me or even leaving a comment below.

Channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw.

As a lot of you may already know I am a tad bit obsessed with the Carrie Diaries,

okay I'm SUPER obsessed. 

Not only have I read the book, but I also watch the show on the CW,  which comes on mondays at 8! 

And after watching the show and reading the book, I see a lot of Carrie Bradshaw in me.

Especially since she loves fashion and writing, the book had me convinced at times I was Carrie.

I love the fashion, the hair, and the make-up on the show. I love how Carrie's outfits are so daring and never safe. Even if she is wearing just jeans she manages to add a different touch to her outfits with an outrages printed cardigan, sweater, or even shirt.

After watching yesterday's episode, "Caught!" I fell in love with Carrie's whole outfit for the dance, but since I have no where to go I can't wear a beautiful dress like her. I decided to recreate her hair, but adding my own casual Carrie look.

 

This hairstyle is really simple to do. I curled my hair with a baby curler, the smallest size it comes with. Twisting your hair in the back before putting it in a side ponytail to add more volume. And don't forget your choice in the color of ribbon to create your simple headband. 

Now for my Carrie inspired casual outfit. I decided to go with a crazy printed skirt, because Carrie loves her prints. This skirt actually has little dalmatians on it, it's high waisted and the belt was included.

For the top, I decided to go with a simple, white laced crop top just so the outfit wouldn't be too busy! The crazy thing about this shirt is that I almost bought an exact same one from Top Shop, the only difference was that Top Shop's was short sleeved. The top shop one was about $30 and I got mine for about $5-8, I believe. MONEY SAVER! For shoes I went with simple beige oxfords that aren't shown in these pictures. Also not shown in this picture is my "K" necklace because Carrie always wears her "C."

DIY: Printed Tights

DIY: Printed Tights!

I'm back and decided to do a DIY: Printed Tights Tutorial for Valentine's Day. I have printed tights myself with little hearts on them, but i always wanted a certain pair of tights and I couldn't find them. So I decided to make them and I'm showing you how!

The best part about this is, it's really inexpensive, fast and easy! 

You can also make polka dotted ones, stars, about any shape and color you want. You are free to let your creativity out.

Safe Haven Premiere

So as many of you may know there's a new Nicholas Sparks book about to hit the big screen! And last night KenZo was there for the red carpet premiere.
We don't want to ruin it for you guys so I'll keep the summary short. Safe Haven is about a woman (Julianne Hough) running from a scary past, she ends up in Southport, North Carolina and falls for a super dreamy widower (Josh Duhamel) and her past comes back to haunt her. There's a BIG secret in the movie that you wouldn't expect. We're quite surprised to say that we really enjoyed this movie. We have not read the book so it was a completely new story for us. After two jaw dropping plot twists we left that theater trying not to cry. And we have to add Noah Lomax and Mimi Kirkland who played Josh Duhamel's children absolutely stole the movie. You just wanted to pick them and squeeze them. We also really enjoyed the chemistry between Julianne Hough and Josh Duhamel, we almost wish they were together in real life. Basically what we're trying to say is, when this movie comes out on Valentine's day you definitely want to go see it with your boy friend, or best friend, or mom, or cat. Grab a box of tissues and and enjoy the typical Nicholas Sparks' love story. And just in case you were wondering there are a couple of shirtless Josh Duhamel scenes so now you definitely have to go!

After the movie we headed over to the after party, all thanks to RELATIVITY MEDIA. There let me just say I had the best She Crab Bisque OF MY LIFE (Zoe). If Wolf Gang Puck is reading this: I love your soup and I want to eat it every day.
And not only was the soup to die for (I could talk about it forever), they also had a wonderful dessert table, I think that was Kennia's favorite part (she ate like 100 red velvet cake shots).
We had such a wonderful night and we really have to thank Relativity Media for letting us come out to the movie and then eat all their red velvet cake and the crab bisque. We appreciate it so much.

Kennia: I just honestly want to thank relativity media so much! This was an amazing opportunity and the most fun we had in a while! Thank you for letting us join you for the movie and the party, we had such a great time and hopefully we'll get to join you again!

Beautiful Creatures Premiere

Beautiful Creatures

Another Premiere we got to attend on the same week was the premiere of Beautiful Creatures. This is a book series that none of us have read. Going into the movie we didn't know what to expect, watching the trailer we couldn't even understand what the movie was about except that she was a witch.

The movie in the beginning starts off by being introduced to the main character Ethan and he is having dreams of this girl. He doesn't know who she is or why he's dreaming of her. He never gets close enough to see her face or even talk to her, he always gets shots. Ethan longs to escape his small Southern town, especially because everyone there is so religious and judgmental. A new girl comes to their town, mysterious and everyone believes she's a witch and needs to go to hell. In reality, she is a witch and is almost turning 16, meaning the universe will determine if she'll be a good or bad witch. Her name is Lena and her and Ethan fall in love. The way he loves her and will do anything for her is so cute, you literally FALL in love with him. Lena's family does not want them to be together for reasons we will not give away, but he fights. We won't give away the ending because without knowing what to expect from this movie we came out falling in love with the characters, the story, and the movie. The beginning of the movie was VERY confusing if you haven't read the books. We had absolutely no idea what was going on and sometimes it was hard to understand what they were saying because of their accents. But we promise it gets better and it's a really cute LOVE story. We came out of the movie wanting to read the series and we're pretty sure we are.

Olly Murs LA Show

Oliver Stanley Murs.

Or as many know him "Olly" Murs.

Olly is a singer-songwriter, musician, and recently one of the UK X-Factor hosts.

He rose to fame after the X Factor finishing in second place.

But became really well known in the US after going on tour with One Direction in the summer of 2012.

His album is about to debut in the US on April 16th, it's called: "Right Place, Right Time!"

Favorite songs on the album: "Heart Skips A Beat!"

      "Trouble Maker." "Dance With Me Tonight." "Oh My Goodness."

His most popular song is "Heart Skips a Beat" and he recently released "Trouble Maker."

Olly Murs played his first headlining tour at the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013!

He of course made a STOP in LA! I was so excited he announced an LA concert because I saw him open up for One Direction and couldn't get enough of him. He knows how to put on a show with his energy, charm, and most importantly his dance moves; which were a huge hit when he was on the X Factor.

If you didn't attend the Olly Murs concert, you honestly missed out! He was extraordinary, we left the concert wanting more. We've been to A LOT of concerts and this is one of the best ones we've been to in a while. He knows how to entertain the crowd with his charm and dance moves. Now let me tell you Olly's dance moves are just to H-O-T! He knows how to move. At one point I thought I was watching Magic Mike. He Channing Tatum if you need another dancer in Magic Mike 2, you should really give Olly Murs a call. He's not afraid to be himself and I think that's what we like about him as a performer. I love his voice more when he sings live then on the record, I just feel like it's more raw and real. You don't get that a lot.

Not only is he a good singer and dancer, but he is also Funny, Charming, and one of the Sweetest people ever. He is also VERRRRRYYY CHEEKY. He is a huge flirt and even if he is older than both of us, we wouldn't mind dating him. I mean have you seen how gorgeous he is. I also want to add that his body is perfect and the fact that he doesn't look like every other singer or actor in the world makes me love him even more. He isn't afraid of what people think about him, he is himself on and off camera. That is what makes Olly Murs so likeable and one of our favorite Brits out there.

I've had the privilege of meeting Olly & he is everything I described and more. He also kisses you on the cheek, got to love British Boys! Unfortunately, Zoe wasn't able to attend when I met Olly because she had work that day ):
