Beau Mirchoff in Dead Enders

On September 16, Kennia and I were fortunate enough to see Beau Mirchoff in "Dead Enders" (Orphans) at the Hudson Theatre Mainstage. You might know Beau as Matty McKibben on MTV's Awkward but let me just say, Beau's acting was far beyond what you see on Awkward. Kennia and I missed the first 20 minutes (*cough*Kennia's fault*cough*) but the play was still amazing. I think Beau has a real career ahead of him not only as a comedic actor but a dramatic actor as well. Beau wasn't the only one who shined. Jesse Allis, who played Beau's younger brother in the play, was absolutely breathtaking. He is an incredible actor and he had me laughing, crying, and truly connecting with his character. Michael Connors, who directed and acted in the production, also did a phenomenal job. I think the whole cast should be extremely proud of the show they put on. I'm not going to lie, I cried. The ending was just two much for me. The theatre was really cute too. It was small and it made the play so much more personal, I just feel like I needed to say that.
The above picture is the stage bill signed by Beau.

After the show Beau came out and met fans. And he was just really sweet and humble as always. There are very few things that I love more than live theatre. So thank you to everyone helped put on such a touching production.
And just for the record, YES my shirt has a cat in a bow-tie on it. You love it, I know you do.

Now we can all just sit here and wait for season 3 of Awkward. I don't know about you but I'm having withdrawals.
