Jonas Brothers Sold Out Concert.

The Jonas Brothers

Who isn't or wasn't obsessed with the Jonas Brothers?!
Three attractive brothers from Jersey, who took our hearts way before One Direction.
Back in our pre-teen years where we had countless posters on our walls of their faces and owned about every piece of merchandise with their face on it, even if we didn't need it. We can easily say the Jonas Brothers were some of our favorite concert moments.

They haven't been on tour in about 3 1/2 years or come out with an album. But guess what?! The JONAS BROTHERS ARE BACK. And decided to play THREE Los Angeles shows in a row at the Pantages Theatre, all which were SOLD OUT. We literally were debating for the longest time if we should go because there were so many other concerts we wanted to attend and it would just be way too much money.

But the day of the second sold out Los Angeles show, we decided to go! We got our tickets last minute for 20 dollars and they were orchestra seats! Honestly guys, these were really AMAZING seats for this price. The original price was about $66+.

No one opened up for the Jonas Brothers, but they did play about a 2 1/2 hour set, which was really nice. They played songs from about every album, even Camp Rock, and brand new songs from their highly anticipated album that we're dying to hear. The show felt like a reunion, so many emotions all at once. So much happiness, singing, dancing, and by far one of our favorite nights ever.

If you're a huge Jonas Brothers fan, you know they always have to do a bit of a dramatic entrance. This one has been my favorite because it was simple and it was basically saying "we're here, after 3 years. This is the new us."

The Jonas Brothers have grown so much. This has been one of my favorite concerts because the stage wasn't extravagant, it was just them and their music.
No rain, no foam guns, or extravagant stage that if you sat on one side you couldn't see what was happening on the other. Does anyone remember that stage?! We hated it.
What we did miss was Kevin's S.O.S dance. Kevin, why didn't you do it?! It's tradition. And We definitely missed Big Rob rapping.
What we did like and thought was really sweet was when they introduced their band and back up singers, the Jonas Brothers got off stage and let them sing one of their songs without them. It was literally the most precious thing we have ever seen.

Overall, the concert was absolutely amazing and it reminded us why we fell in love with them in the first place. They're still the same Jonas Brothers, who put on an absolutely amazing show every time. No doubt about it. After the show, we could not sleep. Just everything about the concert was incredible, their stage presence, their voices, the songs, the fact that they covered Bruno Mars. I wish all of you could have been there. So when is tour?! When does the album come out?! We're ready for the Jonas Brothers to take over magazines, merchandise, and of course every girl's heart.

Here are a few more pictures:

Here is a video we recorded of them singing one of their brand new songs: "Let's Go" (our new favorite!)

Enjoy! xoxo

Cher Lloyd Concert.

Cher Lloyd. Sticks and Stones.

Cher Lloyd is a an English recording artist. She rose to fame from the X Factor, where she landed fourth place.

She is only 19 years old and is from the UK. Her style is very unique. She's not only a singer and a songwriter, but a rapper. There is rapping in every one of her songs in "Sticks and Stones," except for Beautiful People featuring Carolina Liar. This is what I like about her, her sound is completely different  and very enjoyable.

When I first heard her live she wasn't the best at singing live, much like Taylor Swift. I love Taylor Swift, A LOT, but let's be real guys she wasn't the best singer live. So I didn't know what to expect since it's been a while. BUT I was VERY impressed, she surprised me. Her singing got 1,000 times better and her rapping is extraordinary. I love her rapping, it's my favorite part about her songs.

She had a free concert in LA and I didn't even know I was going. I told my mom about it yesterday, we went out to eat and when we were driving home I fell asleep and ended up there. It was a nice surprise!
She sang "SWAGGER JAGGER, SUPERHERO, WITH UR LOVE, OATH" and her first hit single here int the US "WANT U BACK." In that order, she sang one before Swagger Jagger, but I can't remember what it was. During "Want U Back," she picked a little girl from the crowd and brought her up stage, she held her hand and danced with her. It was literally the cutest thing ever. I was debating for a while if I should purchase her album, but after seeing her perform my mind went from a maybe to an immediate YES. I bought her album that night at the concert & now my mom wants to take it away from me. UH NO!

After the concert, I got to meet the lovely Cher Lloyd. Honestly, you just need to be at the right places at the right time. Her manager told us if we don't scream or push she'd come out and sign and she did!!! A fan asked her if she could take pictures, she answered with, "I would love too, but if I take a picture with you everyone else would want one. That would be unfair if I didn't get to everyone." She is seriously the sweetest person ever, she took her time signing and talking to fans. I'm also obsessed with her accent.

Here are a few pictures of the lovely Cher Lloyd when she was signing:
These were taken with my iphone, so sorry for the quality.

Here's a cheeky picture of me trying to sneak a picture with her:

Also, she got to sign my phone case and KenzoDiaries decided to give this away. This is what it looks like:

If you would like the chance to win this case and other amazing cool stuff make sure to follow our twitter @Kenzodiaries and stay tuned! So tell your friends to read our blog and follow or twitter, we have A LOT of stuff to give away!

Enjoy some Cher Lloyd. This one "Oath" and "With Ur Love" are some of my favorite songs!

We love you guys! xoxo

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere.

Kenzo headed to the one and only Breaking Dawn Part 2 Premiere.
This was our first "Twilight Premiere." We did not camp out to gain these tickets, we won them. Getting the news was amazing and we were honestly excited. We're not going to lie, we were a bit afraid of the Twihards, I mean they're pretty hardcore and dedicated.
Not only did it give us an excuse to watch an anticipated movie, but of course an excuse to dress up, what girl wouldn't be excited?

This was the last movie of the saga and if you read the books, you pretty much knew what the plot was going to be about, but this last movie left every single person in the theatre with their jaw on the floor. There is this HUGE twist that no one expected. But before we get to that let's talk a little bit about the movie and we promise we won't reveal any spoilers you don't already know.

The beginning of the film was honestly "cheesy" and a bit comical. The beginning starts off with revealing that Bella was a vampire, immortal, and how she was handling being a "newborn." She's much stronger than everyone else and even battles it out with Emmet. The running and hunting scenes were just funny; especially because she was hunting in a dress with no shoes. The beginning of the film you also get introduced to her daughter Renesmee and how Jacob imprinted on her. But guys Jacob Black strips down for Charlie, pants on the floor and all. *SWOON* There is this sex scene in the first part of the film that I think nearly escaped from being RATED R.

The first part of the film will have you laughing, but then it starts getting serious. Some things were hard to hear because literally the whole theatre would be screaming and wooing. I'm pretty sure when you watch it in theaters it'll still happen. SO prepare yourself for screams. The big "OMG" scene will have you with your jaw on the floor, not breathing, and screaming "WTF!!!" The whole theatre could not contain their emotions, I was in disbelief, while Zoe screamed "WTF" through out that whole scene. Then the big twist happens and so many emotions go through you that you feel like you can breathe again.

The ending is sweet and will have you in tears, not because it finally hit you that the saga is over, but because the last scene was just the cutest thing the couple could witness. We both hate to admit this, but the film was actually really good. There is action, laughs, romance, and a twist, Taylor Launtner stripping... Not to mention that Renesmee had a boyfriend when she was born and we're over here SINGLE. Do we have to be half vampire to get a boyfriend over here or?

The premiere was a lot of fun and everyone from the film was dressed to impress. Kristen Stewart did it right this premiere, she looked absolutely gorgeous and Rob Pattinson in his emerald green suit was perfection. It was different, but looked absolutely handsome. Not only did he look cute, but he is such a gentlemen and loves his fans. Also, Jackson Rathbone's face was looking extra flawless. We did bump into a few people from the film, but Twihards go hard so it was too difficult to get a picture with anyone. Also, we don't like to bug people when they're in a hurry; we just think it's rude.

The stars weren't the only ones that were able to dress up. We dressed  up too! Take a look at our looks:

If you watch the film when it premieres let us know what you thought!? Are you guys excited for the film? Let us know.

*In other news we now have a twitter: @Kenzodiaries. Follow us and we will follow you!*

Kenzo Takes Fresno.

We recently took a mini trip to Fresno for the Ariana Grande and Ryan Beatty concert.
The drive there was fun, it isn't a regular road trip when you're with us.
We laugh, get into trouble, and say the most ridiculous things when we're on the road.

We filmed a few things, but we couldn't film a lot because my camera memory was a tad bit full. But we're getting a new camera primarily for filming. You know what that means? We'll be making more and WAY better videos.

Now back to the concert. Ryan Beatty was PERFECTION as always, he sang a couple songs off his EP and a tons of cover songs, including those from John Mayer, Ed Sheeran and Stevie Wonder. His taste in music is A+. Fresno is Ryan's hometown, so I was excited to see what he would bring to the table. During his last songs, he brought his little nephew Parker on stage. DEAD.
It was the cutest thing ever.

Ariana Grande was absolutely adorable in her pink dress. OBSESSED. She sang a couple songs from her new album, that hasn't been released yet. She promises it'll be out soon, but she has a lot on her plate right now. Not only is she filming a movie in Vancouver, she is also getting ready for her new show "Sam and Cat." She also sang a few covers and a song with her brother Frankie. She is very energetic on stage and her voice is absolutely amazing, she can hit high notes that not a lot of people can hit. She adores her fans and is so thankful for them. Overall, the concert was a lot of fun, but extremely HOT at times.

Outfits for the Fresno Fair:

Last but not least here is a little, short video about our trip. I hope you guys enjoy it! Want to see the full Ryan and Ariana Grande videos? Let us know!!!

Affordable Cosmetics!!!

Tomorrow Kenzo heads off to Northern California and we couldn't be more excited.
A little bit nervous about the drive, but excited about the journey we are about to embark on.

I decided to write a blog about a few of my favorite cosmetics I recently purchased that are VERY affordable before we're off. I love make-up a little more than I can confess and if you were wondering I did teach myself. I can teach you too, just don't ask me about hair. I barely learned how to braid thanks to Zoe. Zoe is AMAZING at hair and hopefully we can connivence her into doing some hair tutorials for y'all (wink wink). I love trying new products, A LOT. I've tried over a dozen mascaras and eyeshadows. But sometimes we get tired of buying expensive cosmetics and just need affordable make-up that works well, I know I do.

The first item I recently bought and I'm obsessed with. OBSESSED.
It's from Elf and it's called the Little Black BEAUTY BOOK.
There are 2 editions available, this one is called the cool python edition.

This little black book includes 48 colors and is very convenient when traveling. It fits practically everywhere, besides your pocket. It includes a mirror and an eyeshadow brush. I would recommend buying an eyeshadow brush like this for better coverage and appearance:
(This brush is from ELF and it's only $3.25!!!)
The colors include browns, whites, blacks, blues, and the most amazing pinks and purple eyeshadows I have ever seen. If I could wear them everyday I would. If you need a bunch of eyeshadows, I recommend you buy this little book, it's available for only $6!!!
I hate when people take Elf cosmetics for granted because the prices are cheap. They maybe cheap, but they work very well. I own this liquid eyeliner from them that only cost me $3 and I use it everyday. It lasts all day and the best part about it is that it doesn't smear.

The next item is Katy Perry Eyelashes.
I recently started wearing fake eyelashes, I wanted to try them out and because sometimes you just don't have enough time to put on mascara. Fake eyelashes are a real time saver.
I'm wearing them here, they are very long and aren't extravagant, well these aren't:
She has 4 types of eyelashes you can choose from:
The ones I'm wearing are called, Oh Honey!
She also has Cool Kitty, Oh, My, and Sweetie Pie available in that order:

The glue isn't my favorite that comes with the eyelashes because it's hard to stick on your eyelashes when applying them and after a few hours they feel like they're coming off. It takes a little practice, but it is a bit frustrating. The eyelashes are only $6 at ULTA and I personally love them.

The next item is BABY LIPS:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVVVVEEEE Baby Lips.
I own the flavors Quenched (the light blue one) and Pink Punch (the pink one).
They are lip balms, so basically a stylish chapstick. They leave your lips feeling soft like a "baby's bottom." But if you apply the colored ones like the Pink Punch it works as a chapstick and a lipstick in one. Did I mention they taste delicious and are only $2.99 at Target. Oh Yeah, go grab like 3!

Another lip product I enjoy is Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter:
They are a butter balm, plus a shiny color all in one tube. This works as a lipstick, but with the protection of chapstick. Unlike Baby Lips these show the color more extravagantly. I own the flavors Candy Apple and Strawberry Shortcake. The candy apple gives you the right color of red for the night and Strawberry shortcake gives you a light pink for the day. These are a little pricy at $8 a piece. But they are on sale right now at Target for $5 or $6. GO GRAB SOME, they are lovely colors that you won't regret. I definitely recommend the Candy Apple for you red lip lovers!

Last item on the list is Maybelline's Color Show Nail Polish:
They have a wide variety of colors, but my favorite has been Green With Envy. If you've been having trouble finding a beautiful mint color, this is the color for you!

I recently bought Born This Way. It's a lovely pastel pink as shown below:
The plus side to these nail polishes is they are the color shown, they are affordable at $2.99 a piece at Target, of course. They don't chip easily at all. I've been wearing this nail polish for about a week and they just chipped (I didn't put a top coat on). Downside to this nail polish is you need a couple of coats to get the color shown and you run out pretty fast because of all the coats being put on.

I hope you guys enjoy these affordable cosmetics! They are some of my favorite and some of Zoe's favorite too. We're both obsessed with BABY LIPS and is one item that you'll always see in our bag. If you have any questions on make-up and hair don't be shy and feel free to leave a comment below or tweet us! We both have tried several products and can probably tell you a bit or two about them.

I'll convince Zoe to write a blog about HAIR VERY SOON! She's a pro.
XOXO, Kenzo.

Beau Mirchoff in Dead Enders

On September 16, Kennia and I were fortunate enough to see Beau Mirchoff in "Dead Enders" (Orphans) at the Hudson Theatre Mainstage. You might know Beau as Matty McKibben on MTV's Awkward but let me just say, Beau's acting was far beyond what you see on Awkward. Kennia and I missed the first 20 minutes (*cough*Kennia's fault*cough*) but the play was still amazing. I think Beau has a real career ahead of him not only as a comedic actor but a dramatic actor as well. Beau wasn't the only one who shined. Jesse Allis, who played Beau's younger brother in the play, was absolutely breathtaking. He is an incredible actor and he had me laughing, crying, and truly connecting with his character. Michael Connors, who directed and acted in the production, also did a phenomenal job. I think the whole cast should be extremely proud of the show they put on. I'm not going to lie, I cried. The ending was just two much for me. The theatre was really cute too. It was small and it made the play so much more personal, I just feel like I needed to say that.
The above picture is the stage bill signed by Beau.

After the show Beau came out and met fans. And he was just really sweet and humble as always. There are very few things that I love more than live theatre. So thank you to everyone helped put on such a touching production.
And just for the record, YES my shirt has a cat in a bow-tie on it. You love it, I know you do.

Now we can all just sit here and wait for season 3 of Awkward. I don't know about you but I'm having withdrawals.

Ed Sheeran Outfits!

We recently got to go in-studio with our favorite Ginger God Ed Sheeran and also attended his concert on Monday, October 1, 2012. Which we will be talking about VERY soon. We can't stop talking about it ourselves and can't wait to write about it. We're just waiting for pictures to be uploaded.

But we wanted to share our outfits with you, we somehow always tend to match or wear really similar outfits. Sometimes we do it on purpose because we love #twinning. But sometimes it's honestly a coincidence.

Zoe's outfit:
Top: Black & White crop top- Forever 21
Bottom: Black Hi-Lo skirt- Target
Shoes: Black Troopa boot- Steve Madden
Jewelry: Gold chain- Forever 21
(I'm so pale it's sad hahaha)

Kennia's Outfit:
Top: Long sleeve, white top from Cotton On.
Bottoms: A star, high-low skirt from Forever 21.
Shoes: White flats from Cotton On.

(I honestly felt like wonder woman and I absolutely loved it -Kennia).

Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande is on the hit show Victorious, who plays the extremely hilarious Cat Valentine.
But she is much more than that, she is an absolutely amazing singer, who can sing notes you expect Mariah Carey to hit.

She has several covers out on YouTube, but our favorite would have to be Die In Your Arms, by the one and only Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber was such a fan of the cover that he tweeted her, best part was Ariana Grande fangirling over twitter and instagram. (So Cute).
The cover will be posted at the bottom of the blog for y'all. If you haven't heard it, please do, it's absolutely amazing.

I (Psstt...it's me Kennia) have seen Ariana Grande perform live at her first Los Angeles concert ever, the Roxy in West Hollywood. Zoe will experience her first Ariana Grande VERY SOON. And she couldn't be more excited. Here are a few pictures of Ariana at the Roxy:

She is an incredible singer and dancer, an overall great artist. If you think her voice is incredible on film, wait until you hear her LIVE. It's something that can't even be explained. I was speechless. She has a passion for performing and for music, you can see it when she sings. And I mean she did do Broadway when she was only 15 years old.

Here she is performing Put Your Hearts Up at the Roxy. If y'all were wondering I did film this video and this is my youtube channel, illyandkennia (I wish I could change the username, but youtube won't let me. MERP). Kenzo diaries will have their own YOUTUBE channel soon (YIPPIE). Her single is available on itunes and she also has a music video out for this single. Her style is very old school, which is different from what is out in the top 40. I absolutely enjoy it. Our favorite song at the moment is Pink Champagne, it hasn't been released on itunes. BUT you can hear the song on youtube.

We've had the privilege to meet Ariana Grande several times. She is an absolute sweetheart and very lovely. She's always been nothing but sweet every time we've met her. She loves meeting her fans and will always be up for a photo op. This is what we love most about her. Her lovely personality. Lastly, we both ADORE her STYLE so MUCH.
These are our most recent pictures with Miss Grande. If you would love to see more let us know in the comment box below or you can check them out on our instagrams, which are:
@itszoejay and @kenniacardenas1.

Like I promised here is here cover of Die In Your Arms, ENJOY!!! (:

In-Studio with Owl City.

On September 25, 2012, I got to go in-studio with the one and only Owl City at 102.7 KIIS FM.
If you are unfamiliar with Owl City, his most famous songs are Fireflies and Good Time, featuring Carly Rae Jepsen (which I have to admit I am quite addicted to).

At the studio we got to know Owl City a little better with a few Q&A's and after he performed 3 songs: Fireflies, Shooting Star, and Good Time.
This was my first time hearing Owl City live.

A little bit about Owl City. He is just one member, not a whole band. But he said he couldn't do what he does without his friends who help him on stage. His name is Adam and he is from Missouri. He loved music and would play in his family's basement. He said he didn't have many friends when he was younger and so music was a big distraction. When myspace was big (who remembers MYSPACE? Raise yo hand) he decided to upload a few songs not thinking anything was going to happen. Little did he know, he became a big hit.

What I didn't expect from Adam was that he was extremely funny and adorkable (favorite word ever). He likes to tell jokes and he is a very down to earth guy. He isn't a big fan of being touched, which I found interesting. So don't get offended if he doesn't hug you. He's really sweet and grateful for everything that has happened. Not to mention he is amazing LIVE. I love his voice, it's quite soothing.

Fun Fact: He said when he recorded Good Time, he had never met Carly Rae face to face. The first time he met her was when the music video was filmed.

Craziest Fan Experience: A girl grabbed him and kissed him in the mouth without him knowing, tongue and all. GROSS.

Here's the lovely Adam and I at the KIIS studios. It was a pleasure meeting him. (Unfortunately Zoe was unable to attend). SO here is a cat....
xoxo Kennia <3

Here's a link to his video Good Time:
ENJOY!!!
